What types of preservatives are used in urban sense?

We use only use botanical based preservatives. This means our products are free from petrochemicals and other synthetic fragrances. See our ingredients page for more information.

What is the suggested shelf life of the products?

We recommend that urban sense products be used within six months of purchase. We also advise that in warm and tropical climates, product be kept in the refrigerator. This is due to the essential fatty acids such as evening primrose and rosehip oils contained in our products.
