What makes our skin care products different?

Our philosophy at urban sense is one of living in harmony with our body's natural environment. We do not use any unnecessary ingredients such as petrochemicals or mineral oils, synthetic fragrances, colors,  fillers or toxic preservatives.  We do not test our products on animals. We do not promote unrealistic expectations or promise miracle treatments. Why use urban sense?

Urban sense skin care was developed in two parts.  Firstly, to excite and stimulate the senses through touch and smell.  This enables us to release stress and tension, whilst indulging our skins with pure aromas and luscious ingredients.  Secondly our products have been developed to feed the skin by topical application.   Each ingredient forms a part of a unique product, full of essential nutrients, vitamins and essential fatty acids that work to protect, moisturise and maintain healthy skin. An uplifting aromatic body oil that works to revitalise and invigorate the skin. Readily absorbed, this deeply penetrating blend of Almond, Macadamia and Sesame oils is combined with Vitamin E to condition, whilst active botanical oils work as a “boost” to energise and awaken the body and mind.  Add to running bath water for a spa treatment or use after bathing as a massage oil.

Liposome Eye Gel 15g

Damask Rose-Frankincense-Carrot

This liposome-enriched hydrating gel will deeply penetrate and nourish the delicate skin around the eye area. Formulated with a rejuvenating blend of Centella extract and Rosehip oils, essential vitamins and precious oils of Rose and Frankincense that  work to soften fine lines and recondition the skin’s appearance. May be used under moisturiser to help counteract dehydration in air-conditioned and dry environments.

French Clay Masque

We have search the world to offer you the best quality and purest clays produced today.  Natural clays are a product from the earth that have been used throughout history to maintain and beautify your skin and hair.  Their active ingredients stimulate circulation, help regeneration of new skin and combat excessive oiliness.  The cosmetic purpose of clay is to cleanse, revitalise, smooth and soften the skin, to bring out its natural radiance and beauty.

How to use

Choose the clay most appropriate to your skin type.  You can blend a mixture of clays to gain the full benefit of both clays. Simply add purified water or floral hydrosol and mix into a paste.  Customize your mask with essential oils, cold pressed oil, honey, yoghurt or herbal extracts or simply use neat.  Apply to clean moist skin and leave to dry.  Remove with a wet flannel or in the shower.

Purifying 120g: Green super fine clay

Argiletz French active super fine green clay is reputed to be the best quality due to its high level of active minerals that improve the skin’s texture and appearance.  This purifying blend works to absorb excess oils, clear away debris and tone the skin. Use once a week to rebalance problem skin, reduce brake outs and clear pimples.
